Anyone who migrates from one place to another preferably staying in one area is described as a nomad. The most salient characteristics of their livelihood practice combine their move from one place to another. There can be many causes for the movement of the nomads such as herders who changes areas due to the climatic conditions (that is not fit for their pets). Other nomads like merchants and tradesmen move for bartering of their products. Besides, pastoralists had to travel from one area to another in the exploration of new fields for their animals.
