घूर्णन – पृथ्वी का अपने अक्ष पर घूमना घूर्णन कहलाता है।

परिक्रमण – सूर्य के चारों ओर एक स्थिर कक्ष में पृथ्वी की गति को परिक्रमण कहते हैं।
