Answer:
Following is the discussion,
Explanation:
Indeed some people believe in the fact that ghosts, spirits and supernatural creatures exist in our worlds. A lot of people who believe in such claims do so based on the existing knowledge provided to them by their religious scriptures or firsthand personal experiences. There are some people who claim that there is no such thing as a ghost and it is purely a figment of our imaginations.
Well, some religions support the claim that Jinns (an arabic word for magical spirit) roam our world. They have their own dimensions where some are able to cross into this world while others not so much. Such as the religion of Islam supports this claim that indeed Jinns exist.Another religion, Hinduism, supports the claim that spirits exist in our worlds.
This becomes the basis for some people to believe in them.
Taking a closer look at ghosts, they, on the other hand do not refer to mystical creatures. A ghost in common terminology can be defined as 'a state of the human soul roaming about the world after that human being has died'. This claim is not much supported by the above mentioned religions.
Now what can be said about these ghosts is that, the human mind is a remarkable thing. It can come up with scenarios and hallucinations. The subconscious mind of a human brain can easily play tricks on humans and make them believe in things which do not exist.
Sometimes when people are thinking about something, their mind tends to play tricks on them and they end up believing that "the sound of a howling wind", or the "creaking of the wooden floor" is necessarily associated with that of someone being there. It may be a ghost even.
Human experiences are the only evidence of existence of ghosts whereas no study can quantify this.
