the poet was walking along the garden where she sees two crows playing when she went closer , she saw a baby squirrel, the crows where trying to kill it, so the poet takes it away with her, when she goes home , here family members and friends said that "after the wound of a crows beak the squirrel cannot survive anymore" but the poet did not agree with it so she provides good medical support and food ,(milk in drops in the mouth of the squirrel), then after sometime the squirrel starts to walk and jump and do everything, so gillu is a squirrel a cute one maybe,with a golden tail and its active and quite brilliant than other squirrels, when gillu was perfectly alright, the poet makes a house for gillu ( she just takes a flower basket covers it with cloth and hangs it in the windo) gillu used to take the attention of the poet all the time

so after sometime , the poet noticed  that gillu cant just be in the house ,it should be free, and so the poet let it outside with a heavy heart and after sometime she was shocked to see gillu back in its house, and the poet and gillu becoms thick friends and so both of them liked each of them

after sometime the poet gets an accident and was in hospital for sometime, the one who was watching over gillu when the poet was in hospital said that gillu did not eat when u were in hospital

then after somethime gillu becomes old
