let no. of total gold coins with Girija = x

coins given to first daughter = 1/6 × x = x/6

coins given to second daughter =  3/5 ×x = 3x/5

coins given to third daughter = 1/5 × x = x/5

coins distributed among daughters = x/6 + 3x/5 + x/5 = x/6 + 4x/5 = ( 5x + 24x)/30

=29x/30

coins remaining with Girija = x - 29x/30 = (30x - 29x) / 30 = 1x/30

hence x/30 that is 1/30 of total coins are remaining with Girija
