Grignard reagent generally doesn't reacts with alkene due to non occurrence of acidic hydrogen in alkenes. Acidic hydrogen are those which are connected to highly electronegative element or to sp hybridised carbon as in alkynes. In alkenes due to presence of sp2 carbon hydrogen is less acidic and hence does not reacts with grignard.
