Muscle tissues are of three types--Striated -Unstriated -Cardiac
Striated- Branched and uni nucleated tissues. Responsible for voluntary movements.Ex- movement of arms and legs
Unstriated- Also called as smooth muscles. They are not branched and are responsible for involuntary movements Ex- movement of oesophagus
Cardiac- it is not striated but appears to be. It is responsible for heart beat and has involuntary movement.Ex- muscles in heart
