A forest is an area, which has huge network of trees, undercover , shrubs, herbs, etc. These forests support one of the world's largest bio diversities of the world. Unfortunately, these forests are on a steady decline. Therefore, we need to conserve the forests.

We can conserve forests by urging the government not to convert forest areas into land for rehabilitation, dams, factories, etc. It takes many many years for forests to grow again. Besides, destruction of forests leads to destruction of flora and fauna, which never grows again. The flora and fauna destruction leads climate issues. Moreover, we can take small steps such as reduce the use of wood as furniture, grow more trees, conserve the nature and forests by strict implementation of forest rules and severe punishment for defaulters and corrupt officials.
