Covid-19 lockdown

In this speech, I want to talk about the coronavirus lockdown. I think we all know what this term entails, and we’re probably all affected by it. Covid-19 started in China and spread incredibly fast to the rest of the world. The whole world is, or has been, at home in quarantine, to limit the danger of infection. Here in Denmark we have now been in quarantine for over a month, and finally small parts of the society are opening up, and we can look toward brighter times. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include us after school students, which I am very sad about. I think it’s really unfortunate that we’re missing out on the best time of the year, and I really hope we can get back to our home soon. On the other hand, it is also important that we take precautions, so that we can overcome this terrible virus as quickly as possible.
What I am doing to show public spirit, is staying home. I have only left my house very few times and there have been good reasons for that, and I kept distance to other people. I don’t meet with all my friends and party, or go to big family birthdays, I’m only at home talking to my friends and family online. If we stay home, we can save lives, so I advise everyone else to stay home, so we can put an end to this coronavirus. We must stand together separately.
