Gas/Vapours turn to liquid by contracting due to condensation, but on heating their physical state cannot reverse back into solid or liquid.

Hence, a gas on heating will remain a gas itself as it expands.

All the gases around us can not change its state on heating. Such as oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, helium, neon, argon, krypton, radon and all nuclear gases.

The chemical substances which dont change their state of matter are diamond and graphite and few more carbon matter.
