The excavation of Mohenjo- Daro and Harappa brought to the knowledge of Indus Valley Civilization
Historical monuments like temples , stupas, monasteries, forts and palaces

They supply valuable historical facts. They are seen on rocks, copper plates, walls of buildings, pillars etc.

Archaeological sources include all past culture’s physical evidence. So at one end you may have large monumental construction, like Castles, temples, and also we have soil micromorphology indicates that ancient ecosystems, or formation of rocks and tools that can reveal part of the formation that are invisible to the naked eye.

Archaeology sources are useful to identify the past cultures of different regions of peoples.

Examples of Archaeology sources:

1. Historical monuments – Forts, temples, etc.
2. Inscriptions – Copper plates, pillars, etc.
