In our daily lives we usually go through four different times of motions. We wake up in the morning and freshen up in the washroom, brush our teeth, then have our breakfast. After having our breakfast, we get ready to go to school or work. After coming back from work or school, we have our dinner at home and spend some time with our family. We usually watch TV late at night or check our emails, before heading back to sleep at around 12 O Clock.

An object is said to be in motion, if it's changes it's position with respect to time and surroundings.

Motion is relative to an observer.

THERE ARE different types of motion in daily life, they are:

1. Translatory motion.

2. Rotatory mition

3.oscillatiry motion.

TRANSLATORY MOTION:

If all parts of moving body move in the direction of motion, then, motion is said to be Translatory.

If a body in translators motion moves along straight line then motion is called rectilinear motion.

If a body in translatory motion moves along a curved path then motion is called as curvilinear path.

Example : motion of mango falling from tree.

Motion of arrow left from a bow.

ROTATORY MOTION:

Motion of all the particles of a moving body follows a circular path with respect to a fixed axis.

Example : Motion of blades of the fan.

OSCILLATORY MOTION :. The "to" and "fro" motion of object about a fixed point always following the same path is called Oscillatory motion.

Example: Ringing of bell

Motion of a vibrating sitar string.
