Ragi :-
- Ragi is a crop of subtropical climate
- It grows best in moist climate
- It grows during may to September
- It is important staple food crop of parts of eastern and central africa and india

- Ragi mature in 3-5 months to after sowing
Jowar:-
- It can be grown in both kharif and rabi season
