example NaCl is a salt, here Cl (Cl-) is acid radical derived from acid like HCl and Na (Na+) is basic radical derived from base like NaOH. . Acidic radical are anions which are negatively charged. For example: SO4 2-, NO3¯ , etc. Basic Radicals are cations which are positively charged.
