Ladies and gentlemen in your respective capacities, i greet you all
As you well know today is teachers day and i am here to take a few minutes just to thank you and applaud you for the job well done. Thank you for educating our nation, our future leaders. You are of great contribution to our country and economy at large and we celebrate you. Many a ties teachers have not been celebrated. A teacher is one of the under paid employee in our country as you ask yourself why? It should actually be the opposite. Without teachers this country would be nothing. We sweat and toil, eat chalk, spend the whole day on our feet in order to give the best to our future leaders, The least the Government can do is to give us descent pay. Lastly ladies and gentlemen, we are coming up with an association for teachers, make sure you all register before you leave. We intend to write all our grievances as one body of the teachers association and present it to the education minister. We hope he will give feedback on time.
