there are 4 types of tissue in plant
1. vascular tissue
FUNCTION -xylem transport water phloem transport sugar
2. ground tissue
FUNCTION makes up bulk of plant mass
3. epidermal tissue
FUNCTION- protect plant tissues and prevent water loss
4. merismatic tissue
FUNCTION - Divide to produce new growth
