They were a type of Shepherds of himachel pradesh who reared the goats sheep's etc...
They spend their winter in the low hills of Shiwalik range. The dry scrubs provideD pastures for their herds
By April they moved to North and spent their summer in lahul and spite
When the snow melted and the high passes were clear many of them moved to higher mountain meadows.
