The rules that were made by Van Deans included
(1) while there were workmen in the building from 8 in the morning till 6 in the evening there would be no noise at all.
(2) There would be absolutely no running water
(3) There was also the rule of no flushing of the toilet
(4) The last rule included that there would be no trash that would be thrown out, instead everything will be burned down.
