Time ⤵️
=> In the Sonnet "Not marble nor the Gilded Monuments" , time is described as sl*ttish because time destroys every monument.
=> Time is not shown loyal towards the monuments and statues. It wips away all the Establishments made to gain fame by the kings.
=> Time only respects the person who did the right thing at the right time. It is not capable of destroying the living memories of the poet's friend mentioned in the Sonnet and the good deed done by him.
