Lord Munodi, a Laputian, was the former governor of the city Lagado. Lagado was the capitol of the country Balnibarbi. It was a land which was not organized or managed properly. It was poor and is ruined.
Lord Munodi was the guide for Gulliver in that land. He was methodical, practical During his time of governorship he did good to the land. But unfortunately he was dismissed by the council of ministers of the king. The ministers were bad. The king had a good opinion of Lord Munodi. Munodi managed his estate well and prosperously. His estates contained neatly built houses, vineyards, corn-grounds, green flushy meadows and agricultural fields. He was under pressure from the king to rebuild his house and farms in the modern architecture.
It seems Lord Munodi was a law obiding citizen and a good gentleman. He was sort of socially alienated by the other lords and socially well known people. He did not like music much.
