Skyresh Bolgolam is the admiral of Lilliput in Gulliver's Travels. He is an irrational person. He hates Gulliver from the first minute he sees him. There is no particular reason for him to hate Gulliver. His prejudices are responsible for the death sentence being given by the Emperor for Gulliver.

The characters in Swift's story represent actual living people of the period. Skyresh Bolgolam may be the Earl of Nottingham, who opposed Swift's candidacy for bishop. He could be the Duke of Marlborough who contributed to England's part in the War of Spanish Succession.
