Temperature and rainfall are the two most important things for forests. Many places are too cold or too dry for them. Forests can exist from the equator to near the polar regions, but different climates have different kinds of forests. In cold climates conifers dominate, but in temperate and tropical climates forests are mainly made up of flowering plants. Different rainfall also makes different kinds of forest. No forests exist in deserts, just a few trees in places where their roots can get at some underground water.

forest is very important for us. forest helps in maintain the ecological balance . without forest our life is not possible . we take breath from tree. forest purify the air. forest gives us many useful product. like timber, fruits,different types of flowers, many useful herb which come in help as medicine. it also provide the shelter to many animals. it also keep environment clean and clear. it also provide that shadows to living animals in the forest. forest also maintain the temperature of the earth. if forest does not occurs on the earth then our life is not possible to alive.
