Answer:

hydrological cycle is the circulation of water in different forms that is liquid, solid and gaseous phase. it also refers to the continuous exchange of water between two the oceans, atmosphere, land surface, subsurface and all the living organism.

hydrological cycle is sometimes expressed

RF=RO + ET

where RG is rainfall includes all types of precipitation , RO is runoff , ET is evapotranspiration

There are six stages in water cycle:

1. evaporation 2. transportation 3. condensation 4. precipitation 5. runoff 6. groundwater

1.evaporation: water is transferred from the surface of the atmosphere through evaporation the process by which water changes from liquid to gas.

2. transportation: the movement of water through the atmosphere specifically from over the Ocean to over land in the form of clause in transportation.

3. condensation: the transported water vapours eventually condenses forming tiny droplets and clouds .

4. precipitation: the primary mechanism for transporting water from the atmosphere to the surface of the earth is precipitation .when the clothes meet cool air overland precipitation, in the form of rain sleet or snow is triggered and water returns to the land or sea

5. runoff: most of the water which returns to the land flows down the hills as runoff.

6. groundwater: under special circumstances groundwater can even flow upward in artesian wells . the flow of groundwater is much slower than run off.

Explanation:

The water cycle — technically known as the hydrological cycle — is the continuous circulation of water within the Earth's hydrosphere, and is driven by solar radiation.

hope this helps you ☺️
