The young lawyer meets bill at the train station. Bill didn't know who Oliver Lutkins was so he thought he could use some help and asked a delivery man about Lutkins but surprisingly that man was Lutkins himself though he didn't tell the lawyer. The delivery man introduced himself as Bill and told the young lawyer that he is a tricky fellow to catch. He also said that he can help the lawyer search for Lutkins but he would need to go and ask the people first as Lutkins might run away seeing a man in fancy clothes. He did so because if the lawyer went in first the people would not know about Lutkins plan and might tell him that Bill was Lutkins.
