The coastal plains are present in the coastal region of India with a length of 7516.6 km. They are flat low lying areas.It is divided in to 2 parts:

1.the western coastal plains

2. Eastern coastal plains

The Malabar coast

The Gujarat coast

The Konkan coast

The eastern coastal plains are divided into 2:

Coromandel coast

Kanyakumari coast
