Answer: The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah,[c] was the World War II genocide of the European Jews. Between 1941 and 1945, across German-occupied Europe, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews, around two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population.[a][d] The murders were carried out in pogroms and mass shootings; by a policy of extermination through work in concentration camps; and in gas chambers and gas vans in German extermination camps, chiefly Auschwitz, Bełżec, Chełmno, Majdanek, Sobibór, and Treblinka in occupied Poland.[4]

Answer:

Well it can't really be described briefly but I will try. Adolf Hitler believed all jews were horrible, so he started a war ( World War Two) and attempted to kill off all jews. They were ripped from their families and sent to concentration camps where they were put to work. Jews unfit for labour were killed. They were not provided any resources, and their food was "soup" which was just slightly flavored water. It is much more complicated so I would recommend reading books such as

  • Surviving Hitler by Andrea Warren
  • The Boy in striped pajamas by John Boyne
  • Making bombs for Hitler by Martha Skrypuch
  • White bird: a Wonder story by R.J Palacio

The list goes on and on and on. These books are truly fascinating, and there is and endless list of them I would recommend reading. It was a devastating and traumatizing time. Adolf hitler was a horrible man.
