Ethyne is an unsaturated hydrocarbons having carbon carbon triple Bond ........ Ethane does not react with bromine water as it is a saturated hydrocarbon

Ethyne forms a pale yellow precipitate of silver acetylide with ammoniacal silver nitrate solution but ethane does not show any change with this reagent.
