On addition of AgNO3 in C2H5Br a yellow ppt is formed which is insoluble in NH4OH

C6H5Br will not form yellow ppt with AgNO3.

Answer: 1-bromoethane will form a yellow precipitate when reacted with AgNO_3 and bromobenzene will not produce yellow precipitate.

Explanation:

C_2H_5Br is a haloalkane compound named as 1-bromoethane and C_6H_5Br is a haloarene compound named as bromobenzene.

When AgNO_3 is put in both of these compounds, only of the compounds will react which is 1-bromoethane and produce a yellow precipitate of silver bromide.

Bromobenzene will not react with silver nitrate and hence, no precipiate will be formed.
