Take some sugar . Seperate it in to two.Add dilute sulphuric acids on each of them.Observe it, the sugar which interacted with concentrated sulphuric acid ,will get darkened as charcoal. The other sugar will not show this.Because concentrated sulphuric acid is a strong dehydrating agent , it absorbs the water molecule in sugar .
