Give a comparative analysis of sectional interest groups and public interest groups.

1. The group which do not promote interest of a particular section of society but of whole sections is called public interest groups.

2. They promote collective interest and hence called public interest groups.

3. Their aim is the welfare of different sections of society with the collective interest and not just focusing on one.

4. Example include BAMCEF.

》Sectional Interest Groups :

1. The group which promote interest of a particular sections of a society is called sectional interest groups.

2. They promote sectional interest instead of collective interest.

3. Their main aim in the welfare of a particular section of society or a member of it.

4. Example include Indian trade union.
