=> Artificial Classification:- In this type of classification plants are classified on the basis of 1 or 2 morphological characters.
Classification proposed by LINNAEUS was Artificial Classification.

=> Natural Classification:- In this type of classification plants are classified on the basis of complete or gross morphology.
It is considered as best classification.

=> Phylogenetic Classification:- In phylogenetic classification both gross morphology and phylogeny are considered.
A.W. Eichler gave the first Phylogenetic Classification.
Oswald Tippo gave the biggest Phylogentic Classification.
