Answer:

a) Advection is a lateral or horizontal transfer of mass, heat, or other property. Accordingly, winds that blow across Earth's surface represent advectional movements of air. Advection also takes place in the ocean in the form of currents.

b)Isotherm = An imaginary line joining places having equal temperatures. The horizontal or latitudinal distribution of temperature is shown with the help of a map with isotherms. Effects of altitude is not considered while drawing an isotherm. All the temperatures are reduced to sea levels.

c) Temperature also varies by the time of day, the season, or even the year. When weather people talk about temperature, they are talking about a mean temperature. ... That range is the difference between the hottest and coldest temperatures in a specific amount of time.
