There are seven basic or fundamental quantities in the physics. Which help in the measuring of any item that you purchase or in any day to day life.

1. Mass: When we purchase an item in the grocery shop we used ask for the weigh of the item for example: Two kilograms of doordal. etc..

2. Time: We usually asks about the time in every situation

3. Electric current: At the end of every month we will get the electricity bill which we consume in house or in any other place.

4. Thermodynamic temperature: We generally say the temperature is too low this day (weather casting). It is calculated in the degrees or kelvin etc..

5. Length: It is also a common word we use regularly. When we see the scale it measures the length of 15cm or 30cm

And the following two quantities are not used regularly but they are also basic physical units.

6. Amount of substance: It is used to calculate the correct amount of substance in the laboratory.

7. luminous intensity: It used to calculate the intensity of light.

And there are many quantities such as velocity, speed and many more which are formed by these basic quantities.
