HF....

F has 7 electrons and H has 1 Electron
So 7+1=8

Here in CH3+

There are 6 Electron for C and 3 electrons for H
So 6+3=9
But there is a positive charge means loss of an electron
So 9-1=8

nikhil365825: how??
aathsha: hope its clear now
nikhil365825: thanks a lot☺☺
