Answer: Alexandar Graham Bell holds a special place in the life of Helen Keller. Helen's father met him about Helen as he knew much about schools and teachers of deaf or blind children. When Helen met him he held her on his knee. She signed and Dr. Bell understood them. He advised Helen's father to see Mr. Anagnos for arranging a teacher for Helen. Helen spent many days with him in Washington and in his home in Cape Breton Island, Near Baddek.
