Beating of a carpet with a stick; makes the carpet come in motion suddenly, while dust particles trapped within the pores of carpet have tendency to remain in rest, and in order to maintain the position of rest they come out of carpet. This happens because of the application of Newton’s First Law of Motion which states that any object remains in its state unless any external force is applied over it.

B) this is because of pseudo force. when driver applies the break it generates a pseudo force in backward direction

Answer:

Almost every motion or physical movement in earth surface is based on Newton's law of motion.

Explanation:

1. Dust particles remove out when a hanging carpet is beaten by stick form blanket as dust follows law of inertia. The dust particles stuck in carpet stay in rest until the external force was applied on dust particles by the stick. The dust particles then leave inertia of rest and and show the movement.

2. The passenger follow law of inertia (inertia of rest) that is why passenger moves backwards when bus starts suddenly. A body remains in rest position until the bus starts, as the body is in contact with bus and bus starts suddenly it causes upper part of body resist the changes in motion and try to remain in rest for sometime, because of inertia at rest.
