When oiling and greasing is done on the surface of iron parts, moisture does not stick to it. In the absence of water, iron does not get rusted. Thus, surface of iron parts remain protected.

Here, oil and grease doesn't dissolve in water. So that moisture does not stick to it.

Therefore, We should oiling and greasing on the surface of iron parts.
