Give a reason why solid and liquids co-exist at their melting points.

Since, they are at equilibrium at that point.So they co-exist.

solid & liquid co-exists at their melting point because solid changes to liquid at melting point 0°c and liquid changes to solid at it's freezing point 0°c...
