between December 1946 and November 1949 some 300 Indians had a series of meeting on the country's political future .the meetings of this constitution assembly were held in New Delhi but the participants came from all over India ,and from different political parties .this discussion resulted in farming of the Indian constitution which came into effect on 26 January 1950
