The poet tells that the stars in the night sky appeared invisible because of the darkness which were formed by the rain clouds. Darkness is a negative connotation. The poet makes no exception to this rule.

And the poet feels sad while he was seeing the darkness. Because, when it rains it also mirrors the human's emotions which the tears fall from the eyes slowly.

Inorder to make him joy, he curl up with his pillows and sleep on his cosy bed then he listens the sound of the raindrops. And the sounds of the raindrops recover his melancholic mood

Then the poet describes that the sound of the raindrops which were falling on the shingles of the roof when he listens it creates an echo to his heart. And also the things which he is imaging appears before his very eyes. And it makes him remember his old and sweet memories. And also these memories were meshing up together slowly. His memories was mainly about his mother and he thinks about how she took care of him and his sibilings during his childhood days which she is no more now
