Take a bottle and cut it from the bottom and set a balloon on the top of the bottle .Now take a candle and burn it and keep it in the bottom of the bottle. But remember don't let the candle to go too close to the balloon. You will then observe that balloon is expanding. This proves that air expands on heating.
