It's almost April and the weather must be getting warm. You may be sweating right now (if the air conditioner isn't on). After sweating when you sit under a fan, you start to feel cool (not the social-cool though). Why does it happen? When you sit under a fan, your sweat starts to evaporate and it lowers your body temperature. The heat from your body gets absorbed by the sweat and the movement of air caused by fan accelerates this process.

Okay, let's take a look at another situation. You got sick of your old nail paint and you wanted to remove it, so you take the nail paint remover on a cotton swab and rub it on your nail and accidently on your skin. That part of your skin feels cold, doesn't it? Well, it is because the acetone in the nail paint remover just evaporated.

Or maybe you made some instant noodles. You boiled them in water to get a soupy texture. You took them out in a bowl but that's when you got a call from your friend. You leave the bowl and talk to your friend for an hour (yes, we all do). You come back to take your bowl of instant noodles but then you notice there is less soup in it now. How? Well, the water evaporated.
