Answer:

Holistic practice is always about looking or considering the entire picture or snap shot of someone's life. What are their food practices, support network, calming practices, exercise habits, current stress levels, lifestyle habits. These all relatively speaking contribute to good bad symptoms. If i just went through a surgery for instance, I would put myself on a vegetarian diet, extra vitamin c, bone broth, easy to digest whole foods. This will give the body the nutrients it needs to recover. Rest, helpful kind people and no stress will only help the entire body recover from the stress from surgery.

Illness stems from trauma, anxiety, stress. We tend to ignore or want a quick fix to get back to our busy unsupported unbalanced lives to make some money that you'll probably end up putting into your heathcare. Why not just be a little more balanced with life….take time for a healthy lunch, stop to drink water all the time, take time to connect with others, eat dinner with family or friends an eat slow…enjoy your food and the time, be mindful of what you feed your mind and your body.
