Curds are dairy products obtained by coagulating milk in a process called curdling.It can be caused by adding enzymes or any edible acid substance .

Milk is converted into curd by the process of fermentation .the bacteria convert lactic acid into lactose.During fermentation, the bacteria use enzymes to produce energy (ATP) from lactose.
