particles of matter have spaces between them, that is why we are able to move our hand in the water and air.

and particles of solid have very less space , that is why we have to apply larger force to break it.
HOPE HELPS

hey dear your answer is here:-

Matter means solid, liquid and gases. In solids there is no space in between the molecules because solids are very closely packed.

In liquid's there is space in between the molecules because liquids are loosely packed.

In gases there is more space in between the molecules because there are very loosely packed.

examples ,to show that particular of matter have space ........ :-
solid did not have space between them ........

In liquids there is space so we can show that particules of matter have space between them.
example:-
* take a Beaker and add 100ml of water and add one drop of ink at the side is the Beaker.
we will observe that the particles in ink will dissolve in water beaches there is a space in between the molecule's of liquids.
example two :- repeat the same experiment but in the place of ink take potassium permanganate.......

hope it helps dear-----------
