He appointed an economist called Hjalmar schacht.His theory regarding Economic recovery was two pronged.It aimed at full production and full employment through state funded work creation programmes.The project introduced famous German superhighways and the people's car the Volkswagen.Schacht had advised advised Hitler against investing hugely in rearmament as the state still ran on deficit financing.But Hitler did not agree.So,schacht had to leave the country.
