Plasmodium malariae is a parasitic protozoa that causes malaria in humans.
SYMPTOMS:
Symptoms are chills, fever and sweating, usually occuring a few weeks after being bitten . Other symptoms include vomiting, nausea, headaches ,body pain, weakness and fatigue.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES:
*Before stepping out , the use of mosquito repellents can prevent mosquito bites .
* When at home, shutting the doors and windows in the evening.
* People should sleep under bed nets for further protection.
* We should not allow water to collect anywhere as mosquitoes breed only in still water.

malaria is caused by protozoa that lives in blood. this parasite enters our body through a female anopheles mosquito bite which is the vector, visits water to lay egg , the protozoa enters our blood stream when female mosquito bites us . the protozoa affects our liver and red blood cell.
symptoms:
very high fever with periodic shivering, headache and muscular pain
control:
use of quinine drug, keeping the surroundings clean with no stagnant water, nets.
