The age wise distribution is the distribution of people of different ages in our country. It decides the level of development our country can achieve. The ages are divided mainly into three-
1) CHILDREN (till 15 years)
They are the economically unproductive population.
2)WORKING AGE(15-59 years)
They are the economically productive and biologically reproductive population.
Their numbers decide the development of a country.
3)AGED(above 59 years)
They can be economically productive but are not available for recruitment.

The children and the aged constitute the dependant population.
