Tropical rainforest is found in Eastern and Western Ghats Assam Part of Tamil Nadu and Kerala As well as some part of Andaman and Nicobar Island.

Because South India is near the equator so rainfall is high there

Tropical Rain Forests are found in the Western Ghats and the island groups of Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar, upper parts of Assam and Tamil Nadu coast.

{2} These forests are found in the southern part of India because : {i} This region receives heavy amount of rainfall i.e., about 200 cm. {ii} This region is struck by the monsoon winds at the earliest therefore, receives heavy rainfall.
