when princess September's other elder sisters fixed it in her mind that her bird may leave her if she doesn't have it caged, she got scared and thus decided to keep it as a caged pet.
she told the bird to get into the cage and kept it locked . the bird was surprised with her behavior and even stopped singing and having water and food. when it finally got freedom by acting dead and then flying off, the princess was grief-struck . the bird returned after a long time and them princess September realised her mistake.
